This burns off everything but the carbon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Surface Treatment<\/strong>: This step helps the fibers bond with other materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sizing<\/strong>: A thin layer of protective coating is applied.
