Consiste en utilizar un penetrador de bola de acero duro o carburo, normalmente de 1 a 10 mm de di\u00e1metro. Esta bola se presiona contra la superficie del <a href=\"https:\/\/dycarbonfiber.com\/es\/products\/tubos-de-fibra-de-carbono\/\">tubo de fibra de carbono<\/a> bajo una carga determinada. A continuaci\u00f3n se mide el di\u00e1metro de la impresi\u00f3n resultante para determinar la dureza.<\/p><p data-start=\"2190\" data-end=\"2550\">Mientras que el ensayo Brinell es muy eficaz para materiales como los metales, los tubos de fibra de carbono presentan un desaf\u00edo \u00fanico.
