Consiste nell'utilizzo di un penetratore a sfera in acciaio duro o in carburo, di diametro compreso tra 1 e 10 mm. Questa sfera viene premuta sulla superficie del materiale. <a href=\"https:\/\/dycarbonfiber.com\/it\/products\/tubi-in-fibra-di-carbonio\/\">tubo in fibra di carbonio<\/a> sotto un determinato carico. Il diametro dell'impronta risultante viene quindi misurato per determinare la durezza.<\/p><p data-start=\"2190\" data-end=\"2550\">Mentre il test Brinell \u00e8 molto efficace per materiali come i metalli, i tubi in fibra di carbonio rappresentano una sfida unica. Il penetratore pu\u00f2 a volte distorcere o non riuscire a creare impronte chiare a causa della durezza superficiale relativamente bassa del materiale rispetto ai metalli.
